Jordan Architecture was established in 1993 and has been providing architectural services at various levels for the past several years. We provide professional services for all types of clientele and tailor our services for the client that requires all the necessary documents and contractor negotiations necessary to design and build a project. We also provide builders specification drawing sets for our contractor clientele, and we now provide a design/build service for our clients that want us to be involved in every aspect of their project, from start to finish.
Jordan Architecture enjoys listening to our clients and incorporating their ideas into the design of their project. We enjoy the opportunity to design with different styles of architecture for our clients. We have experience designing mountain architecture, Santa Fe Style, and California bungalow style, along with beach, desert, and tropical architecture. We enjoy the opportunity to be innovative in differing designs and new endeavors in varying styles. We pride ourselves in our ability to differ our designs so that we are not repetitive within our design styles.
Services
We are a full service architecture firm. The architect's basic services are normally divided into five phases of professional participation in the client's program, covering the entire scope of the project, and usually the engineering of normal structural systems. The design services upon which our professional fees are based include the following project development phases:
- Schematic Design Phase Based on the client's functional requirements, budget objectives and building site, design drawings are prepared which define the concept scale, character and relationship of project elements for approval of the client.
- Design Development Phase Based on approved architectural schematics, building materials. The architectural design is further refined, integrating support systems, and detailed client requirements.
- Construction Documents Phase Detailed working drawings and specifications are prepared setting forth the exact nature of the project for building construction and the site development purposes. Construction contracts are prepared and reviewed with the client along with the necessary jurisdictional approvals.
- Bidding and Negotiation Phase The client is assisted and represented in obtaining bids or negotiated proposals, evaluation of contract proposals and awarding of contracts and preparation of specific construction contracts at the request of the client.
- Construction Phase Based on regular job visits, the construction progress of the project is reviewed for compliance with the working drawing and specifications and the contractors' regular payment requests reviewed for conformance with accomplished work upon the request of the client. Shop drawings and component samples are reviewed; material colors selected and coordinated, and minor changes requested by the client integrated into the project.
Additional Comprehensive Services In addition to the project design services described above, our firm offers the following related design services to our clients: Site analysis and selection; site utilization studies; site master planning; and project programming, internal function studies and space planning.
Additional Professional Design Services To further assist you in the continuity of the planning and construction of your project, we offer a comprehensive design service. This service will assist in planning, detailing and purchasing of interior items.
